Privacy Policy

MOMENT3D is a brand of Progress Lab Inc., an Illinois company (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you use moment3d.com, order from us or write to us, and what we do with it.

We collect only what we need to make and deliver your order:

• Your photo and the text you ask us to engrave.
• Your name, email, shipping address and phone number, if you give one.
• Your order: products, sizes, options and prices.
• Messages, photos and videos you send us, including reviews and return requests.
• Basic technical data about your visit: pages viewed, device and browser type, IP address and the approximate location it suggests.

We do not collect or store your card number. Payments are handled by our payment provider, Stripe, under its own privacy policy.

While you try shapes and sizes, your photo is processed in your browser and stays on your device. To build the preview, the page finds the main subject and any faces so it can frame the picture and remove the background. This happens on your device: the result is not sent to us, it does not identify anyone, and we do not create or keep face templates or other biometric identifiers.

The photo is sent to us only when you go to checkout. We use it for one purpose: to prepare and engrave your crystal, and to remake it if something goes wrong.

We do not use your photo in advertising, on this site or on social media unless you send it to us for that purpose, for example with a review.

We delete the order photo from our order system 90 days after delivery — long enough to cover the 30-day guarantee and a remake. If you start checkout and do not pay, the photo is deleted after 30 days. You can ask us to delete yours sooner; working copies our production team received are deleted with it.

• To make, ship and support your order.
• To email you about your order: confirmation, questions about the photo, tracking.
• To answer your messages and handle returns.
• To publish a review you send us for publication.
• To understand how the site is used, fix problems and prevent fraud.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We send marketing emails only if you sign up for them, and every one has an unsubscribe link. Emails about your order are not marketing and are sent either way.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with companies that help us run the store, and only what each one needs:

• Stripe, to take payment and calculate tax.
• Shipping carriers, to deliver your order.
• Hosting, storage, email and messaging services we use to run the site and process orders.
• Analytics and advertising services, unless you turn them off in the cookie settings. They receive what you do on the site (pages, cart, purchase amount) and, for a purchase, your contact details as an irreversible code (a hash).

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or to a successor if the business is sold or merged.

The site stores a few things in your browser so it works: your cart, the photos of the items in it, and your last crystal settings. These are necessary and do not track you.

Analytics and advertising cookies are on unless you turn them off. You can do that at any time in the cookie notice or on the Cookie Policy page, which lists everything we store.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of analytics and advertising cookies. We do not respond to the older “Do Not Track” signal.

Order photos are deleted as described above. Order records — what you bought, where it went and what you paid — are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually up to seven years. Messages are kept for as long as needed to help you and to handle any dispute.

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to us from the email address used for the order and we will answer within 30 days. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for advertising and the right not to be treated differently for using your rights. We do not sell personal information, and we honor these requests.

We are based in the United States and ship only within it. Your information is stored and processed in the United States.

The site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if we learn that we have, we delete it. Photos of children that you upload are used only to make your order.

We use encrypted connections and limit access to order data to the people who need it to make your crystal. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
